Dear St. Dominic Lector Community:

Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday Easter Vigil & Easter Sunday:

We did not have enough individual reader "preferences" in the Ministry Pro scheduling system to be able to assign Lectors for the Easter Season reading assignments.

If you would like to read on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday Easter Vigil or Easter Sunday, please log into the Ministry Pro system and VOLUNTEER to read at the Mass of your choice.

Most of the reading slots are still unassigned.  Please do it today.

St. Dominic Lector Work Shop:

Remember to let Marlene Hug or myself know if you would like to attend the Lector Certification Workshop Seminar being held in our Parish to renew or get your Reader/Proclaimer Certification with the Archdiocese.

If you know someone you think would be a good lector please pass the word and remember to notify Marlene Hug or myself of your interest so we can get you on the attendance list for the seminar and have the parish pay the fee for your attending the seminar.

Archbishop Aymond is requesting all Lector / Proclaimers to be certified.

We all need to renew our certification.  I have.  Have you?

Archdiocesan Lector Certification Workshop at St. Dominic's on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Siena Room!

Sincerely,

Dear St. Dominic Lector & EM Community:

The Archdiocese Office of Worship will hold a Lector Certification Workshop at St. Dominic's on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Siena Room!

Workshop participants receive a beautiful certificate signed by the Archbishop. The certificate does have an expiration date on it.  The Archbishop does expects all Lectors to renew their certification.  Take advantage of this convenient opportunity to update your skills and get a beautiful certificate for your trouble.

Please forward this notice to anyone in our parish who may want to become a Lector or a Eucharistic Minister.

If you know any Lectors who stopped reading to be Eucharistic Ministers please let them know they are eligible to continue being Lectors as long as they do not read and act as EM's at the same Mass.  We would love to have some more Proclaimers of the Word.

A list of Eucharistic Minister Workshops is also listed below.

The parish will pay for your attendance at the seminars provided you notify Marlene Hug in the Parish Office.
